Hello! My name is Scarlett Luden. I am currently a junior at Syracuse University, pursuing a B.A. in Public Relations at the S.I. Newhouse School of Public Communications, with a minor in Marketing from the Martin J. Whitman School of Management. I also have a concentration in fashion and beauty communications through the university’s specialized milestone program.

Originally from Pittsburgh, PA, I discovered my passion for media early on and have since developed a strong interest in public relations. During my time at Newhouse, I have immersed myself in the field through both academic and hands-on experiences, gaining valuable perspective on the industry.

I currently serve as PR Director of University Girl Magazine, a role I have held for the past four semesters, where I lead strategic communication efforts, oversee media outreach, and strengthen brand positioning. Additionally, I have been actively involved in PRSSA, serving as EDGE Director for Fall 2025 and Spring 2026, and will be stepping into the role of President in my senior year. Through these leadership positions, I have developed strong skills in brand communication, consumer engagement, media relations, and strategic messaging.

This past summer, I participated in the Newhouse NYC program, where I interned at Autumn Communications, a full-service PR and marketing agency. I am currently continuing to expand my experience as a Talent Management Intern at Oz Lane Agency for Spring 2026, gaining exposure to influencer relations, talent partnerships, and client coordination.

I am passionate about using public relations and communications to support agency work that drives meaningful, real-world impact. I am particularly interested in opportunities within lifestyle, talent management, and fashion, where I can contribute to creative storytelling, brand growth, and impactful campaigns.
