​Hello! my name is Scarlett Luden. I am currently a Junior at Syracuse University, pursuing a B.A. in Public Relations at the S.I. Newhouse School of Public Communications, with a minor in Marketing in the Martin J. Whitman School of Management. I also have a concentration in fashion and beauty communications through the university's specialized milestone program.​

I'm originally from Pittsburgh, PA and throughout high school I discovered my passion for media early on and have since cultivated a strong interest in public relations. Starting at the Newhouse school, I have been able to immerse myself further into the field and gain more perspective. My involvement in University Girl Magazine and PRSSA have strengthened my brand communication, consumer engagement, media relations, and strategic messaging. Participating in Newhouse NYC this past summer has opened my eyes to living and working in NYC as an intern at Autumn Communications, a full-service PR & Marketing agency.

Public relations plays a critical role in shaping brand perception and building meaningful connections with audiences. My educational background has provided me with a solid foundation in communication strategy, while honing my ability to craft compelling narratives, manage digital media, and collaborate with diverse teams.

I am eager to apply these skills in a professional setting through various experiences and internships that will provide me with practical experience and further insight. I'm open to many areas of PR, however I'm driven to work in the Food & Beverage industry or the fashion industry!
